I love summertime, The kids and I enjoy spending time together and visiting family that we don't get to see nearly enough. However, it really cuts into my crafty production time.
I try not to stress about it too much, since these are the days they will remember when they grow up.
Wednesday was our first day of summer, and we started it off right by taking a hike with my brother and two nephews to the famous Ape Caves in the Mt. St. Helens region. I must brag, that we really do live in a beautiful area.
But anyway, there I go chattering on. Now back to business. This week I finished up a super fun baby quilt for a friend of mine.
I used the Ultra-Wavy Quilting tutorial written by Better Off Thread, you should totally check it out!
I surely have some tension issues to iron out, I see my fabric pulls a little here and there, but I believe that I can iron all of these issues out with practice.
I used the grey chevron as the backing, and mixed it up on the binding with a little of each color.
As usual, I appreciate you coming by, please feel free to leave a comment, I sure do look forward to hearing from everyone, and enjoy answering any questions you may have.
Today I am linking up with Crazy Mom Quilts, Confessions of a Fabric Addict, and Richard and Tanya Quilts. Thanks for hosting link-ups.
Have a great weekend!
