One Step Closer

This week has blown past.  I am sad to say I didn't get a ton done.  I did however enjoy the company of seven awesome kiddos!

 
I am happy to have a couple quiet hours tonight to finish this awesome quilt top.  I am now super excited to hopefully wrap it up next week, along with another baby girl quilt top I have finished.

Tomorrow is off to my real job, then it's the beginning of another great weekend.  Enjoy the sun!  I know I will!

Calling it a night!

We had a relaxing summer day.  Switched back and forth between working in the garden, playing out in the hot sun and quilting!  I enjoy simple days with my family!  

Now time to put it all away for some weekend fun!

Feed them through.

Today I am having more fun with half square triangles.   I love how versatile they are!

They are all stacked up and ready to feed through!

Then for the really lucky ones, have a handsome helper cut them apart!

Fun with squares

Half of the fun of making a quilt is getting to the stage of laying it out and seeing all the options.   I am always amazed at how different a quilt can look just based on how it is put together.  

So don't forget to have some fun with this step!

We've Been Busy!

A couple of weeks ago, my friend and I decided to take the plunge and start an etsy store!  So we have been working our little fingers off!  We are proud to say that as of yesterday, we are up and running!
